As well as using commercially available software for many design and drawing office tasks, we’ve developed our own software for certain activities commercial software can't fully support.

In particular, we’re delighted to announce the arrival of RoweBeam, a programme for the analysis and design of composite beams incorporating web openings.

This exciting software can be used to design beams formed from either plate girders or rolled sections. It helps create economic long span solutions with large, closely spaced web openings to incorporate services within the beam depth - saving on valuable headroom in buildings. It also facilitates the economic determination of intumescent paint thicknesses using a state of the art fire engineering approach.
